I came across this site yesterday, and though I haven't explored it completely it's looking really promising.....AND IT'S FREE!!!!! FREE!!

www.last.fm

This site allows you to build a library of your favorite artists and albums for your listening pleasure and they don't charge a dime. As far as I know you can't copy any music to your mp3 player or even burn a CD, but you can listen to a custom playset while logged on.

Also, it's a great place to find new music as they suggest artists that are similar to ones in your library.

If your the type that likes to own a hard copy album - this place will allow you to preview the set before you buy the CD. It's a no lose situation.

Try it out, let me know what you think.

I've been thinking of ditching Rhapsody lately. It's a paid deal, but I love it. I'll give live.fm a spin.

Thanks for sharing!

You should check out Pandora and Last.fm. Pandora lets you build stations based on an artist or a song. Last.fm will allow you to do sort of the same thing, but the site is much more. Sort of a social network for music lovers. Even lets you track what you listen to through your computer so you can look back and see what song you listened to the most last year, for example. My last.fm profile is at www.last.fm/user/mocephus

Tested yesterday and instantly decided I'd cancel Rhapsody. Thanks for sharing, dudes. You saved me some cash.

Johnny,

Just checked from the admin side and I don't see an email address when I click on the PayPal tab under your control panel. As admin I can see what you see (supposedly). Double check and see if it's there and I'll see if I can figure something out.

Where's the paypal tab or my control panel for that matter?

Either click on your name anywhere it shows up on the screen, or "my account" on the left sidebar. When you get there, click edit. Then click PayPal. Then enter PayPal email address.

We'll have to make this easier for sure. We are making progress on the search for a developer. I can't tell much more other than saying we're making progress in that regard. The main functionality is all here, but we have a lot of cleaning and function adding to do.

Thanks for sharing!
