This is actually a question/thought.
I'm no pro, but I do like taking pictures.....and getting feedback.
I found this site, which is a photo contest site based on users reviews.
www.thephotochallenge.com
I thought it was free, but that's only true for the first photo you upload, then there's a monthly charge to add more. Also, it's not the most user friendly site, it's a little confusing to navigate.
The good side is this; There are many, many photos to peruse and review if you like. Also, I loaded my first photo yesterday and I already have two feedbacks.
So, check that out....and if you know of any other photo review sites let me know.
internet locations to display work and get critiques
You can open a deviant art account. They have several account types including a free one. You can post artwork, photos, digital works, etc.....you can list what you would like from people and most will give you feedback be it positive or negative. If you have a piece your really like you can list it available for prints and they will issue the print when someone buys it. YOu get the money....they, of course, get their money from it as well. My husband has a site www.sesfitts.deviantart.com if you want to just see how they are done. He had a free account until just a month ago. Hope it helps you some.
Thanks
Thanks...I'll check it out...I haven't thought about selling at all...just would like to get some feedback.
Two Things!
1. My previous post suggesting www.thephotochallenge.com is a waste of time and seems to be a scam of sorts - pleasedisregard that suggestion.
2. I have found a great site with loads and loads of digital photgraphy tips and an associated forum on which one can post a photo and recieve helpful critiques. Check it out:
