This one blows my mind. Here's the header from yesterday's press release . . .
"CANON U.S.A. INTRODUCES THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EOS 5D MARK II DSLR CAMERA FEATURING FULL-FRAME HD VIDEO CAPTURE
The Canon EOS 5D Mark II Escalates Full-Frame Digital SLR Photography to the Next Level with HD Movie Recording Capabilities, DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor, and 21.1 Megapixel Resolution"
Did you get that? Full frame. 21.1 Megapixel. HD Video.
Now, read down into the press release and you'll see the expanded sensitivity rating of ISO 26500. Yes, that's a five digit number. Insane.
Let's keep an eye on this one.
Eric
Canon just don't understand the importance of dual slots!!
Yes, that system looks promising. However, it's missing the dual card slots. Can you believe that? For the price range, the 50D also looks impressive and goes to 12,800 at about 1/2 the price of the newly announced 5D Mark II. If the 5D Mark II had dual card slots, i'd have a pre-order in :(*
