Overview
I don't have a prescription co-pay plan and CanadaDrugs.com has saved me some serious money this year.
I'm also curious if there are even better options our there.
My Situation
I met FellowTip's Eric at a wedding in Asheville, so I'm not a random scammer / spammer. In fact, I'm a partner in a web design business, which is why I have high deductible medical coverage with an HSA and no prescription co-pay. On a tip from a friend, I found I could get certain items fulfilled online and shipped from Canada for multiples less than buying from US pharmacies.
Example
Fluticasone Propionate - Generic Flonase®
CanadaDrugs.com - 150 doses = $36.02
DrugStore.com - 3 bottles (roughly 180 doses) = $119.93
The other drug I buy, Omeprozole, is roughly the same price at both places.
The Details
Valid prescription can be fax in for fulfillment. To be honest, I haven't needed to fax in a prescription because the two drugs I've purchased, generic Prilosec® and generic Flonase®, are over the counter in Canada. I can't imagine the faxing being too much of a hassle, but please post if you have any feedback. I know a friend has faxed in prescriptions to a similar Canadian site.
Anyway, in a nutshell:
Any feedback on your experiences with Canada Drug or other options, Canadian or not, are welcome.

Thanks, jciallella
jciallella is an awesome guy. We've talked several times since we met at the wedding and discussed FT and other stuff. The point is, I'd take his advice seriously, knowing his character. Most of you guys know me and I'll vouch for j. One thing (among others, all good) I can say about him is that he carefully thinks things through before acting. I actually hadn't given the subject much thought, but will now that he's mentioned it.
(I wouldn't count this as medical advice. If you have a prescription, you're gonna get the drugs, so this is just a recommendation on a supplier.)
Our Terms of Use contain verbiage related to liability regarding advice you get here. But please, use common sense, especially as it relates to matters of health and wellness. Take the same precautions you would elsewhere.
